Nicole K. Socci dedicated herself to the practice of family law even before her admission to the bar. Attorney Socci completed internships with the Middlesex County Probate and Family Court and later served as a judicial law clerk for two and a half years to the Justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court in Middlesex, Plymouth, Suffolk and Worcester counties, as well as the administrative office. In that role, she assisted the Justices of the Probate and Family Court in a variety of family law, probate law and equity matters.
As a family law attorney, Attorney Socci cares about her clients and provides excellent representation and personalized services to them. She has extensive experience in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody and parenting plans, child support and post-divorce modifications. Attorney Socci understands that divorce is often a confusing and difficult time for clients. In order to minimize the emotional impact divorce can have on children and families, she encourages clients to attempt to resolve their disputes outside the courtroom through mediation or other dispute resolution means. However, Attorney Socci knows that some cases need strong representation, and she is prepared to fight for clients' rights in court when necessary and is a skilled litigator.
Attorney Socci graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, magna cum laude, in 2005. She earned her law degree from New England Law | Boston, cum laude, in 2008. Attorney Socci was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 2008.
While at New England School of Law, Attorney Socci completed internships with the Middlesex County Probate and Family Court, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Mediation Program, Mediation Works Incorporated and worked for a Boston-based family law firm. Attorney Socci has served in leadership roles in the Lawrence Bar Association and Dana Farber Leadership Council. She is a member of the Greater Boston Family Law American Inn of Court. In her free time, Attorney Socci enjoys participating in, and fundraising for, the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk which raises funds for cancer research at Dana Farber.
